Deulm (듦) comes from the Korean word “deul-da” (들다), the noun form meaning to seep into the heart or to enter within. Deulm Gallery carefully curates works by artists based in Korea and Japan. Each piece is shaped by the artisan through heuk (흙: earth), baram (바람: wind), and mul (물: water), carrying both their technique and spirit. We aim to share these forms as they are. We honour the roots of every work, cherishing craftsmanship born from the hands of artisans and celebrating creations that are unique and deeply personal. Much like the tradition of passing down treasured objects through generations, we hope that these pieces — imbued with the spirit and attitude of their makers — will seep into your hands, your eyes, and your everyday life, remaining with you and becoming part of your world over time.
